What do you use to get rid of crickets? I'm assuming because we had one really cold night a few nights ago and all of the rain that it's driving them indoors. I made H take care of three this morning that have been chirping since last night. I'm not afraid of most insects but I can't stand crickets because it seems like every time I go to kill one it jumps at me and me no likey.

Re: Crickets
We have a cricket "problem" starting at the end of July. They finally go away by the end of September. This is the second year we're in the house and were hoping the first year was a fluke. We'll be hiring an exterminator next year.
Really all you can do is make sure cracks getting into the house are sealed. Focus on trying to keep them out of the house. Once they get inside, we use our "cricket catcher" (a plastic cup and paper plate) to trap them and flush them. Other times when they get sneaky we just spray them with ant spray (I prefer not to do this though).

I think I'm going to get a box of moth balls and not open the box and just hope the smell is potent enough to keep them away. I really don't want my house smelling like moth balls!
