Crochet - Bernat Puff Ball
Hello-
I'm not an active poster, but I figured this would be a great place to ask for advice on this.
Does anyone have any advice about crocheting with the Bernat Puff Ball? I have started over several times, and am just plain old frustrated. It's as if there isn't enough yarn between the puffs? My yarn just gets all squished together?
Is there a trick I am missing or is it just something I need to start over several times before I "get the hang of it?"
Thanks in advance!
Re: Crochet - Bernat Puff Ball
It's this stuff, right?
A friend of mine knit a couple scarves out of that. She knit 2 stitches (I think) and then skipped the puff even though there was still enough yarn left for 1 more stitch. So the stitches were kinda loose. She just tugged on it a bit to even them out.
Not sure how that would work with crochet. Maybe do just 1 single crochet in between each puff??
Google found this for me http://www.bernat.com/search.php?LGC=puffball&advps=y
yes, it's a novelty yarn, and i'm just trying to make a basic stitch at this point...i have no specific pattern that I am trying to use, but I have seen the PP posted two scarves which the one on the right is the style I am going for.
In all honesty it's just a personal vendetta against this yarn (I can't believe I "can't" crochet this ---type of experience)
I am doing just one single crochet in between the "puffs" maybe a slip stitch would be better?
I just hate the feeling that this yarn is "winning" you know lol, I thought I was smarter/better than this! lol
