Wooo Friday!!
Derek stayed at Tim's again last night so he could help him set up his shed and then get our material for our kitchen. It was free delivery to Tim's city, so he's going to drive it out to our place (an hour and a half w/ no traffic). Really I think Derek just wanted to go so he could cuddle with Simon, the kitten they got the girls for their birthday.
We've got another busy weekend ahead. My parents left for a week's vacation and said it would be "wonderful" if they came home and a wall in their house was gone/opened up. So, tonight my brother is coming down and tomorrow he and Derek and opening up a big pass-through between the kitchen and TV room.
What does everyone else have on the go this weekend?
Re: Happy Friday!
Hello Friday! Surprisingly, I'm not as exhausted as I usually am on Fridays, but I'm still glad the weekend is here. Should be a typical quiet night in tonight. Tomorrow we've been talking about going golfing at a driving range - it's been a few years since I've golfed at all, so that could be pretty sad/interesting. Sunday we have plans to meet for a picnic with some local nesties + families. These are both obviously weather dependent, so I'm hoping the skies cooperate.
I also have a first session with an acupuncturist tomorrow, to help with fertility. I have no idea what to expect, but I figure it can't hurt.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
So glad it's Friday.
Today I'm off work but have to go in for a meeting with our managers and VPs about our workload and plans for the department. The rumor is (and the entire hospital has been told but us) that we will now be open until 8pm on weekdays. The problem with this is we have been short staffed for MONTHS and we've been told this is going to be resolved and it is just not happening, so this is just going to compound the problem. There are several pharmacists who are on the verge of quitting and management doesn't even seem to get it. Hopefully part of the annoucement today will include me being moved into a fulltime permanent position. We'll see.
I also have an appointment for a pedicure. One of my toes is super funky from running so I hope I don't get the side eye too bad. It's a fancier place that I have a GC to and they've been nice in the past. Fingers crossed.
Tomorrow we're off to Kitchener-Waterloo for a friends wedding so I have to go through my closet today and see what I want to wear. Otherwise I'm going to hit up the mall and maybe buy something new.
Have a great weekend.
Raynes - Is Derek for hire? With all the work he does, I should just have him do all of mine. Ha ha.
TGIF! Tonight I am going out (yes me, only me, no kids, no DH, me!) with some friends to Kobe, which is a Japenese rest. with hibatchi. Yummy, and I can't wait for me time.
Tomorrow we have a late after noon wedding. Seriously, it will be interesting. My BFF and I are pitching in on a car for her to get to/from the wedding because she wasn't sure how she was going to get there. My BFF just called and said the bride called him asking him to be a day of coordinator. Really? A day before the wedding you are just realizing this? I could go on, but needless to say, it is going to be interesting, I will have to give you all details Monday.
Sunday, I plan on sleeping in, then picking up the boys, and having a typical Sunday.
Have a great weekend ladies.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Happy Friday ladies!
Just another normal work day. Trying to get things organized before I head out of here for good at the end of the month. I have a Dr. appt at 11 so that will help break the day up a little.
Last night was fairly low key for me. I made dinner, cleaned up the kitchen and then relaxed. Kind of organized some baby stuff but I am at a stand still with the nursery not quite done so the nursery stuff is sitting on my dining room table.
This weekend will hopefully be a productive one with some fun stuff in between. DH has been working late all week so I am hoping for a date night.
Have a great day and weekend ladies!
Morning. Very happy it's Friday, though I wish the day would go by a little faster.
Tonight's not going to be that exciting; we have some chores we need to get done before tomorrow morning, so we'll be cleaning and doing laundry tonight. Tomorrow, a friend from my old job is joining us for brunch a local deli, so that'll be fun. Sunday, nothing too exciting planned.
Happy Friday, all.
Good morning! Thank you for all the kind words yesterday, We're still praying for a miracle, but trying not to get our hopes up too much.
We went to the dress rehearsal for the Washington National Opera last night and it was fantastic! They are doing Tosca and it was just wonderful. It was a late night for us and kitty was irked when we got home. Poor fuzz bucket. The late night led to oversleeping this morning, but the boss is out today and I don't really care.
We don't have anything planned this weekend. It's still raining here and I am about to go BSC. If it doesn't let up, it will be a weekend full of napping and yoga. If it does, we may walk to a church down the street to check out Slavic-American festival. I'm curious to see what that's about.

Morning all. This week at work has been insane! I'm glad it's Friday. This weekend should be fairly low key. I have a bit of work to do, but I plan to mainly relax, go see my grandpa, and catch up on some needed sleep.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Last night DH finally clued me in that it was Thursday and not Wednesday. I'm super thrilled the week went by so fast. I love having him home so I can do more stuff around the house without baby attached at the hip.
It's finally sunny today after a few days of rain, so I might sit out on the deck most of the day and catch up on some reading. I also got a cool game for my kindle that I can't seem to put down. It's a logic number game that makes pictures. Sounds weird, but super fun.
Tomorrow night we're having a huge game night at our house, so tonight and tomorrow during the day will be cleaning time. This house has been a disaster since we got home from the hospital. It'll be nice to finally get it back in order a bit. Thankfully, the shedding around here hasn't been so bad, but it does look like winter coats are coming in, which means in a few weeks the fur will be outrageous all over again. Ugh.
Sunday will be a relaxing day of doing nothing...I hope. Happy weekend!

Happy Friday!
V's cousin is visiting us after work today but I don't think we have any other plans this weekend. Perhaps we'll be able to go to church this Sunday... we weren't able to make it last week.

Good morning ladies. This has been the longest short week ever. Tonight we are going to a birthday dinner for one of our friends daughters. It's near the beach so I'm hoping we can take a walk by the water afterwards if it's not too late.
Tomorrow we are taking Olivia to the county fair. I'm so excited. She is really observant and loves to look at everything so I think she'll be really entertained by all the lights and people. I can't wait!
It's football season so we'll likely spend lots of time at home on Sunday watching many football games. Have a great weekend ladies!
