Mmmm...Vicodin...

That stuff is the schiznit.

I had my gallbladder taken out on Tuesday.  I've been doped up and mostly sleeping all week.  The pain is no joke.  So wassup?  Everybody have a great long weekend?

  • Don't let yourself get *ahem* backed up.  I did and I almost ended up in the ER again with the pain from it.  Take action early, if that is a problem.

I'm just hanging around the house hiding from the monsoon outdoors.  It's coming down like cats and dogs and it isn't supposed to stop anytime soon.

I had actually been wondering if I should be worried about that.

Ooh, please send the rain down here.  We have been having massive, I mean massive, wildfires and desperately need it.

  • I had my gallbladder out last year and the doctor actually told me up front to get a stool softener, which helped.

I would looove to send you some of our rain! It is getting rediculous here. Road closures, mandatory evecuations (north of us). Heck we are now the proud owners of a generator to run our sump pump in case we loose power again. A bunch of friends have flooded basements now too. My lawn is going to be such a pita to cut if/when this rain ever stops ><

  • Hope you feel better soon!!

  • Mine was taken out almost a month ago - I agree on the stool softeners. My surgeon said the same thing, and it definitely helped. The vicodin made me really nauseous, but I just used the nausea as an excuse to sleep. You're right...the pain post-surgery is no joke.

    Hope you feel better soon!!
