SS contract approved by BofA and has questions
We received an email letter saying that our offer is approved and that we may start the mortgage process but it also states that this is not a approval for closing. I am confused. Don't they give us a date to close?
Re: SS contract approved by BofA and has questions
Not all BoA SS's are alike, so my answer might not be correct for this situation but I think it is.
A SS Bank essentially gives 2 approvals on a contract. First they approve the actual contract and terms including a close by date, sounds like this is where you are. Then 3-5 days before closing they require a copy of the Final HUD for Final Approval with all fees for both sides on it. They want to make sure that everything is indeed how they spelled it out in their approval letter.
