A/C repairperson recs? Arlington.

Our usual repair guy is on vacation (it's just a one-man show).  Our A/C broke yesterday & I'd *really* like someone to come out today.  The unit should still be under warranty & everyone my husband has called thus far doesn't work on warranty units.

Any recs for the Arlington area?

  • I'm sorry - no recs here - but I'm watching the responses, because our A/C wouldn't turn on last night either!

It seems a little sluggish when Irene was in town...so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the weather (our unit is on the roof)? I was hoping it would dry out today/this weekend, and work...but if not, we'll be looking for an A/C repair person as well!

we just had john c. flood come out & it's working.  they could come out same day & the guy was really nice & put covers on his shoes so that he wasn't tracking mud throughout the house.  based on how the a/c has been running for the 30 min since he's left, I'd recommend!

  • We used ARS/Rescue Rooter to replace our AC a few months ago on the recommendation of someone on here. They were great and did a fantastic job.
