Frye boots

Anyone have a pair? Are they worth the money? I love the Melissa, but don't think I will wear them enough to justify spending that much.

    This is the exact pair I'm coveting. Target has a pair that looks identical in style for much cheaper, but I'm afraid that the quality of the leather will be a let down. It look stiff and pebbly rather than soft and rich like the Frye boots.

    I never have much luck with Target boots. I am anxious to hear how CD's new boots worked out. They are on sale for $79.20 currently.

    I asked her how they looked in person and she said she really liked them. Of course, then she also said that she was lusting after the Target pair. I figure we're still a good month or two away from temps that really justify boots so I'm going to keep an eye out for a sale on the Frye's. They're pricey, but if they last for years & are comfortable it balances out. Everyone on F&B that has them seems to love them. I'll let you know if I find any deals.

    Just popping in to say I love them! I've worn them a fair bit & they've been pretty comfy. They gave me a blister the first day, but after that they been fine! I may get that target pair too. Love me some boots.

    I just can't justify spending that much on boots in Florida no matter how long they'll last. I practically had a panic attack buying my sweater uggs because I was worried I would never get any use out of them and they're less than half of what I would pay for Fryes. I'll stick to my Target knockoffs. I think that if I lived in a cooler climate I would want the better pair though.
