DH's car was keyed last night.
What do you do for this? Do we need to make a police report?
I doubt we'll report it to insurance, as we have a higher deductible and his car has some other dings too.
Re: WWYD car got keyed
I would just carry on with my day, maybe buy some paint to touch it up at the auto store or something.
Thanks. I was thinking along the same lines--it sucks, but forget about it.
We live in an rental townhouse community, so there aren't really any patrols anyway. We rarely see any vandalism at all (except for the penises spray painted onto a few no parking signs)...

My car got keyed once, and it wasn't just one side, it every single panel on my car. The police were out writing reports that night, an entire block got keyed. I ended up calling my Insurance company and I was able to get it completely painted for about $200 instead of the $800 it was going to cost.
I'm sorry to hear this happened to you.
