Be stuck in a broken elevator for 5 hours or stuck in a broken chairlift for 5 hours? Be stuck on a chair lift, provided I was somewhat warm. At least then there would be the outside to enjoy instead of four walls that would most likely feel like they're starting to close in on me.

I figure since one second ago I didn't even have the $1mill I might as well take the chance for $5mill. Also, I wonder in this day and at my age if $1mill would be enough to never work again. I'm not sure it would be. But $5mill would be.

Would you rather get $1 million for sure or have a 50% chance to get $5 million? I think I'd rather take the sure thing. $1million isn't enough for us to quit our jobs, but between now and say 20 years we could turn it into our retirement I think. And maybe redo the kitchen.

I hate heights ever since I went skydiving and being stuck in an elevator is a fear of mine especially if it's packed full. I take the elevators at work hundreds of times a months, so I think I'll chose that one as I know the people who have gotten stuck do get helped and at least I'd be warm and not high in the air.

Be stuck in a broken elevator for 5 hours or stuck in a broken chairlift for 5 hours? In an elevator so that I could move around and go from standing to leaning to sitting to laying down if needed. You'd be stuck just sitting on a chairlift and that could get uncomfy pretty quickly.
PLUS, I have been stuck in an elevator ... twice. It's not that bad.
