Happies & Crappies

So what are your happies & crappies for the week?

Re: Happies & Crappies

  • Happies:  After lots of phone calls & explainations I finally got the Dr's office to realize that an initial appointment with the doctor & the diognostic tool (ultrasound) could not be considered or coded as an infertility appointment since at the time of the appointment no one knew that I had fertility problems. In othr words, it's been refiled & my insurance will probably pay! Yippee!!!

Crappies: Nothing major.  1.) Nelson's sinuses are giving him trouble - headaches & dizziness.  2.) Ex lied to SD & said that she got a big promotion a few months back & is now an Assistant Vice-President at JP Morgan Chase. It's odd considering that her signature has her job title in it & it says Training Officer. UGH! Why?

  • Happies: That I had a nice birthday and so many wonderful people who sent birthday wishes.

Crappies: The traffic all week now that everyone is back from vacation. Also I'm at work 2 hours earlier then normal and I'm SO sleepy.

  • Happies: Football is back! Go Ravens!!

Crappies: This whole 9/11 terror plot mess. I do not want any more Americans losing their lives. Period.

  • Happies:  I told my BFF that I was pregnant - lol - hard to hold it in but it feels so good to have someone to talk to about it (other than my trainer lol)!  She was happy too, which was good as she had recently had a m/c and i was super nervous about telling her!

Crappies:  I have a wedding tomorrow and SO MUCH EDITING TO DO.  it's obnoxious.   and i'm really not sure what to do about it!  lol - maybe get off the nest and work on it?  hahaha

  • Happies: Made it through my first solid week of teach my exercise class, and I'm not completely dead. Oh, and my mom did surprise me this morning with bringing me homemade applesauce she made from my apple tree! Yum!!!

Crappies: I have found myself on the verge of a breakdown about not getting pregnant. It is seriously to the point that I am not understanding what I am doing wrong? So many of my friends and most of my family can get pregnant just thinking about it. I am trying so hard to not get too down, but I just can't even think about it or I start crying. Bah-Humbug!

{{{Hugs}}} Danie, believe me I know exactly how you feel. I know your time will come. Just look at me; I had pretty much given up. Have you looked into posting on TTTC on the Bump? That board is great for support.

Happies: I have a lot this week! The big one is (drumroll please), nearly 3 years after getting laid-off, yesterday evening the company DH has been doing freelancing work for offered him a full-time job!!!! He'll be making almost twice what he has been earning, plus he'll now get vacation time and benefits. We are both so happy!!!  Another one - I heard the baby's heartbeat on Wednesday!  We are slowly breaking the news to our inner circle and everyone is really excited. And, last but not least, we got confirmation that my sister's oncologist is, in fact, switching her to the oral and much more tolerable treatment. We're hoping she starts to feel better soon.

Crappies: Morning sickness kicked in big time this week and I could barely function for a few days. I had a scare on Wednesday morning when I had a small amount of red spotting. Fortunately it was about an hour and a half before my already scheduled ultrasound, so I was able to see right away that everything was ok with the baby.  It hasn't happened since then and my nurse said it's most likely nothing to worry about. I'm still a little nervous though.

We've been on the same page for far too long, friend. I said the same thing to DH just last night and he had to give me a pep talk. Maybe you and I need a refresher get-together so we can unload, unwind and get back to feeling normal. :)

  • Happies: We are going to try to TTC. Super excited for that. And it's Friday and this week has sucked at work so I am glad it is over.

Crappies: I got super PO'ed at DH last night, because he has been spending money on stupid things lately. We are saving for a house and now for a baby possibly, and he is going to need to reel it in.

  • Happies:  I got a BFP (actually 3 of them to be exact) and I don't know who is more excited, me or DH.  The weather has been beautiful this week.  I told my BFF this morning that I'm PG and she is super excited for us.  I found out my other BFF is coming back here at the end of the month for work and possibly long term.

Needless to say, it's been a good week for me.

Crappies: DH allergies have really been acting up this week.  Last night DH work phone rang 3 different times over stupid stuff in the middle of the night.

Danie, I felt the same way about a month or 2 ago.  Please don't give up or beat yourself up over this.  Just know there is a plan for you and things will happen when they are meant to be.  I used to hate it when people would tell me to just relax and not think about it, because it's easier said than done, but I think that's what actually worked for us.  Please know that you are not alone in this process and we are all here to support you.

  • Happies: SS is ACING school so far! My talk with him about his laziness the last few years and the threat of not being allowed to go back to his school next year (public school where he has only 1 friend instead of numerous) must have kicked his a$$ is gear :-) Yay! Finally something worked after two years of restricting, rewarding and NO improvement.

Also happies: I finished going through my first CIA book! I'm going to review hard core and hope to take the test this month!! After that, I have 3 more to go but some of the topics I covered in college so it'll be more review than brand new concepts.

Crappies: My cramps were really nasty early in the week, and I wanted to hurt MIL on our way to have lunch with DH's cousins on Monday. I don't have a lot of patience with her (I'm better than I was though).

  • Happies: I finally started grad school and so far I am REALLY enjoying it. The thought of knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel with my current job is nice. Though I wish I could leave this job NOW and find like a teacher's aide position just to get my feet wet, but I don't think the pay/benefits will be good enough (not that i'm making a lot of money at this job bleck). I'm also happy that its the WEEKEND!

Crappies: Work sucks. See my Dear Coworker post. I also am going to try to do an 11 mile run this weekend and I am scared I won't be able to do it with the debaucle I had last week.

  • Thank you very much ladies for all of your love and support. I can't tell you what it means to me. I know Jeff is thinking I am seriously going crazy because I will be bawling one minute without saying a word, then the next I am telling him how excited I am to make food for Saturday's football game. I just always try to bring myself out of it as quickly as possible, but I am afraid I am driving him crazy from the self-induced mood swings!

  • Happies: Off work early on a Friday! :) and may not have to work tomorrow! :) Fall decorating! Awesome weather!

Crappies: I think I might be getting a UTI again. Major pregnancy jealousy! Everyone is pregnant or TTC. New hires at work and of course one is pregnant! Training new hires.

  • Happies: Packers won the season opener!!!

Crappies: I didn't get to watch the game because of the massive blackout throughout all of southern california :(
