Sniffles. Hold me S08 Aunties
I think we're going to do the first conversion on Mariela's crib tonight...if we both don't wuss out. She refuses to fall asleep in her crib anymore, but will fall asleep in our Queen sized guest bed with no issues as we read her goodnight stories (two stories and she's out cold) and as long as we leave her there she'll sleep fine, but it isn't safe for her. We hope that by starting to convert her crib, we can read to her while she lies in her crib and she'll just fall asleep there and we will eliminate having to move her from bed to crib and risk waking her back up (which happens about every other night and the process repeats).
It'll look like this:
I'm NOT ready for my little bitty baby to grow up. It is going by way too quickly. 
I'm all irrationally emotional about this milestone.

Awww..hopefully it will be a smooth transition for her, and you.
We are getting ready to transition Levi into a big boy bed in the next couple months. He falls asleep anywhere BUT his crib, and wakes up in the middle of the night crying...but sleeps solid all night in a regular bed. This has been going on since around March-ish. I'm ready for a solid night's sleep and my bed back to myself.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with a LO that does this!! GL with your transition.

I am going to transition Brynn to her crib this weekend. She has been in a pack-n-play in our room but has become such a noisy sleeper lately that it keeps waking me up long before her middle of the night normal wake up.
