Glad it's finally here! Last night J's grandparents got into town and of course the house wasn't as picked up as I'd have liked but oh well.
I pretty much all but broke down on the phone with J yesterday and it kicked his butt into high gear and went and put in some applications. Lord I hope he finds something soon.
Not much else going on...his grandparents will be here til Sunday or Monday and J has a tennis match Saturday mid morning that we'll go watch but nothing else really planned.

I had to stand on the train home last night, it was like a flipping cattle car. I don't get SEPTA's issues. They are the transportation authority in a major city. Why can't they have backup plans? All the lines were down yesterday except for two due to flooding. They had no shuttle plan in place, and instead of adding cars and trains to the lines that were running, they shorten trains by two cars. Are you kidding me? How are we supposed to accomodate the regular people with two less cars let alone the extra people? GRRRR. The incompetence is insane. No other major city has transport issues like these.
After the ride from hell I returned books to the library, picked up a few things at CVS, then went to the mall for a bandeau strapless bra (less hurty, also less flattering, but whatever), Clinique stuff & free gift and a little wallet for Disney trip. After that I got keys made at Home Depot for Aubrey and picked up a few mums and a new hose since ours bit it.
I got home around 8, diced up some sweet potatoes and roasted them with olive oil, rosemary and sea salt. My crockpot meal was delicious. So were the potatoes. I packed lunch and gym bag, did two loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher and cleaned the powder room. I fell out around 11:00.
Tons to accomplish today at work.
I'm so freakin glad it's friday. Even with the short work week, I'm so glad it's over!
Tonight J and I are hanging out at home and watching a movie. Tomorrow he leaves around 4 am to go to some snowmobiling show/meet thingy. I'll be hanging at home and doing chores while watching the Badger game.
Sunday I have a bowling/lunch date with some girl friends and J is going hunting. He's been goose hunting and I tried the goose for the first time ever on Tuesday night. Couldn't do it. Not sure what it was, maybe the seasonings he put on it, or the texture, whatever, I couldn't eat it. So whatever geese he kills now, he'll be eating all on his own!
I am also glad it is Friday. Of course I am working Saturday day and Greg is working all Sunday because of football, so we only have Saturday night to hang out:(
My BIL and his FI are getting married this weekend. They are having a baby at the end of the month, so they very last minute decided to get married before he/she comes. Instead of waiting till after which they were planning on doing when they found out they were pregnant. It was so last minute we are not able to make it since they live in Ma. I feel really bad that Greg can't/won;'t be at his brothers wedding but I think they decided last week, maybe. He was saying it's only going to be like 12 people. I think they might be doing something the beginning of the new year so we can go. Which will be nice for us and everyone so we can bring Brooke and everyone can meet her.
The last couple months I feel like we are missing so much because we live so far away from our family, (well more his family, mine is kinda annoying) and friends. I don;t want to move back there but I wish everyone would move here. Oh well..
Steph - I hate, HATE standing on the train. It's just so freaking miserable.
moleson - I have had goose before and thought it was just 'meh', but I agree, it may have just been the seasoning/preparation. I would be willing to try it again at a restaurant though.
Xtine - Sorry about missing the wedding, but they probably figured that would happen, and it will be good to meet up later!
As for me...I could not get up this morning. The dreary weather makes it way to easy to keep re-setting my alarm these last few days. Luckily it's Friday, and tomorrow we're going to Cape May for three days, so hopefully we can rest up and get back on track for next week! Last night we went to a nice dinner for our pre-anniversary, and it was so delicious. I was still full this morning and couldn't finish my breakfast! I'm in a good mood today.

Hey all! Had a pretty bad headache basically all day yesterday, so again, I didn't do much around the house except what I had to. Today I am at least attempting some laundry and such so the weekend can be mostly time relaxing and having fun with the hubby.

Moleson! So excited for you! That pic on FB is so much better and high res than any we have. So of the current pregnerds, we're 2 boys, 2 girls, eh? And then our two little babies are boys?
As for me, I ditto the TGIF sentiment. I spent all day yesterday puking, which was AWESOME. Made it to work today, which is an accomplishment right there as I almost turned around about a half dozen times. Feeling better, though, in the last 20 minutes, so maybe I'll make it. Sigh.

Ditto, so glad it's Friday. I got my Pumpkin Spice Latte, yay, fall is here. Nothing major planned for the weekend. Getting my hair cut tomorrow at an Ulta salon. It'll be my first time there so I hope it goes well. It's my first cut since March and since my stylist moved to New York, I really miss her
I also want to go to Party City for supplies for my gparents anniversary party. I need to do laundry so it'll be ready when we pack on Thursday for our trip.
