AW: Another birth documentary!!

Hey ladies and ESPECIALLY Momma's to be!!

This is the link to another birth documentary I did two weeks ago. Turn up your speakers and enjoy the music that comes with the images and, please, seriously consider paying to have this done when it comes time to have your baby. It's amazing how much of this Debbie, the Mother, doesn't remember. It will be worth every penny you spend to have this day captured the right way by the right Photographer! I love you all!

Re: AW: Another birth documentary!!

  • I loved it!  Did Debbie know what she was doing like she's done it before?  I would have NO clue what to do and she made it look soooo easy.
  • Lol yeah this was her fifth child so she was pretty much a professional. In home unassisted childbirth - it was definitely a different experience from my sister's, who was induced and in a medical facility. It was incredibly beautiful to watch; the dawn was coming through the trees just as Micah arrived and it was absolutely breathtaking!

  • Wow, I bet it was incredible witnessing a home birth.  Did it give you any ideas? Positive or negative?

This is really amazing and that girl made it look like she was baking cookies instead of giving birth to a human.  Kudo's to her and you!

  • It actually reaffirmed for me, after witnessing the difference between a hospital birth and a home birth, that I definitely want a home birth. Unassisted? Probably not. From an objective standpoint, it's very clear how invasive some nurses can become, disregarding the the needs and desires of the Mother. With that being said, I am SO grateful for my sister's Doctor, who stood back and allowed my sister to do her thing and was merely there to "catch" the baby.

After four children, Debbie knew that she delivered better and with less pain in the water, so she went that route and did not stray from it because it worked for her. Her sister? Same situation, but she chose to deliver outside of the water at the last minute. Her other sister? With a doctor in a hospital, with an epidural. The greatest thing I learned was that we can do this with or without medicine so long as it's our choice to do it how we want to do it. The proof was right there in front of me. :)
