Five Things Friday
1. This is going to be a "post and run" because we're meeting FIL for lunch.
2. My hair is soaking wet and wrapped up in a towel right now. It's hot.
3. I'm looking forward to the GTG on Thursday.
4. Emma likes to put my headbands in her hair in such a way that she looks like Paulie Bleeker from Juno.
5. The new pickle graphic is making me really happy.

1. I really didn't want to get out of bed.
2. I'm starting to stress out about this pile on my desk that I need to get to.
3. The stress is making me NOT want to work.
4. I can't wait to go home and snuggle on the couch with my husband and two pups!
5. Can it be 5:30 yet!!!!
1. I stayed up until 2am this morning watching Tia & Tamara on Style Network.
2. Hence, I didn't want to get up today, good thing DD got up & just played in her room.
3. Last night I thought of going to a few stores in West Oaks this morning, but decided against it because it was suppose to rain, rain & rain.
4. Yeah, it's already 12:08 & I see no rain.
5. It's fun watching DS walk now, he's wobbly, but does good keeping his balance.
1. I just got a new iphone case and it's really cute.
2. To make number 1 even better, it was on clearance.
3. Where the heck do I find the pickle graphic? It's not in with the smileys.
4. We need to buy a treadmill, but have been to lazy. Makes me wonder what the odds are of using it if we are too lazy to go buy one? To be fair, I just hate trying to decide which one.
5. I like Fruity Pebbles, but it's been years since I've eaten them.
1. Just finished my lunch and I'm trying a new thing. Veggie Straws - yum!
2. Heard the song 'Heaven 9/11 version' and I cried my eyes out this morning. Truly heartbreaking!
3. I can't believe it has been 10 years since 9/11...seems like it just happened a year ago.
4. I'm thinking about planning a weekend alone with DH when we come back from Florida. I'm not sure where to go though.
5. My co-worker just ate a hostess cupcake (the chocolate one with the filling inside) and now I'm comtemplating getting one. I haven't had one of those since grade school.
Is it 5 o'clock yet??
1. One week from today, I'll be leaving for GERMANY!!!
2. DH leaves for Germany tomorrow morning (he's attending a conference next week, then I join him when it's over). Usually I like having the place to myself, but it will be weird that we can't even talk by phone. I'm going to be kind of lonely.
3. I have a slight cold. I'm pretty sure I caught it from my sister who was sneezing all weekend, even though she claimed it was just allergies.
I'm doing everything I can to get over this cold - extra sleep, hot tea, vitamin C & zinc. I had better be healthy by the time I leave for this trip or I will cry!
4. This weather is so depressing. With the cold and rain, I just don't feel like doing anything but curling up on the couch under a blanket. It's making it really difficult for me to work on all the stuff I need to do at work and home to get ready for the trip!
5. I called about a month ago to make a hair appointment for next week (hey, my hair needs to look hot for all those vacation photos!). I needed a weekday appointment at 5pm because the salon is walking distance from work and I can't leave early. The salon called today to confirm my appointment - for SATURDAY. I told them my appt. was on Tues, there must have been a mix up. Too bad, all they have now is a 2pm on Weds. Ugh, so much for advance planning!
1. I am SO glad it's Friday!
2. Why does it seem like the short weeks go by the slowest?
3. I majorly cleaned the house last night and it felt good!
4. I am happy to see the sun today, it's been a long week with the rainy days.
5. I can't stop yawning today.
1. I've been really busy today and I've hardly had any time to nest today.
2. Yesterday my company announced another reorg. I'm really happy with where I got placed in the department.
3. While I'm really happy with how my job will be changing (and won't be changing) one of the managers said she's not sure anymore how well asking to go down to 32 hours/week will go over now.
4. I really have to do some thinking about what I want out of work/life balance now.
5. Hopefully, since my boss is totally supportive, it won't be a problem, but I totally have to start thinking about it now.
So jealous - I hope you have a great time!

Yea....turns out it was an opossum. I learned that to H rat is a synonym for any and all rodents.
4. I am so excited that new TV is coming soon.
5. James slept for 7 hrs straight last night - I am getting spoiled by this good sleeping and am slightly terrified it will go away even though I know it's probably just another fluke.
1. Today has been the busiest day at work. Because of that I am just now realizing it is 3:15pm....
2. I have to run to the bank after work today and I HATE going to the bank on Friday afternoons... I wait in the drive thru line forever.
3. We are heading down to Ohio for a festival tomorrow and I can't wait, I love doing that sort of stuff and my H hates it, so when his parents are involved he has to go. It's like a forced family day for me!!
4. My parents 38th wedding anniversary was yesterday and all I got them was a card and I got my mom and apple pie.. hahah (it's her favorite) I feel like a bad daughter but then I did more then the rest of my siblings, I had to remind my brothers.
5. I think for their 40th we are going to plan a surprise party.
1. i am annoyed that we spent so much money on a nice swing and my daughter hates it and has used it MAYBE 5 times. instead its huge and hogs up my living room.
2. my husband is the worlds biggest procrastinator. ever. i have been telling him (aka nagging) all week to make sure his suit fits and is pressed for the memorial service tomorrow. he comes home from work today to find out it is a wrinkly mess. UGH!
3. im hungry and def do not feel like cooking.
4. i spent wayyyyy too much at the carters store.
5. im looking forward to taking ava to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch!
