question regarding paying for carry on
my ILs leave for myrtle beach in the a.m. i brought down my luggage today so i wouldn't have to pay to carry on on the flight on saturday. it feels so good to be done packing two days ahead.
but i still want some things with me on the flight - a book, maybe a snack. i figure a purse is not a carry on, right? how big of one can i get away with? what about a tote instead?
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Re: question regarding paying for carry on
Here, a couple of the airlines are pretty hardcore about 1 carry on it's either a purse or a small bag (yes, I've had the fun of squeezing my purse into the carry on b/c I'm that cheap/annoyed). Anyway, carry-on goes by weight-- it's 10k (approx 23lbs) and dimension (need to fit in that standard airport metal frame thing, I'd guess the dimensions are about 2.5ft by 6inches, or something about that).
I'd guess it's pretty similar back home-- as long as the tote's not bigger than the metal frame thing, you're probably good to go. You might check the airline's website too, some of the airlines over here post the limits on their sites.
Have a great trip!
