Re: friday rant and rave
Rant: i work 6-4 today. It'll just be me and the new girl. I'm super exhausted and have a ton of work to do at work and at home. When I'm training, I have a hard time getting anything done... and it sucks. Rave: Money is money, and overtime equals even more. Thank you lawd!
Rant: I'm throwing a baby shower for my cousin and family. I didn't think about it until last night but I'm letting a bunch of people into my home who I don't know and I am kinda worried.. WT brings WT and I'm worried. Rave: I'm throwing a baby shower for my cousin! I know she is so excited about it and I've worked realllly hard so far!

Rant: H came home from work early yesterday bc he's sick and when i came home it looked like a tornado has come through the house, even though the house cleaners had just come 2 hours before he got home. I ended up having to pick up the house after working an 11 hour day yesterday.
Rave: going to portland for the weekend for warrior dash!
Rant: I don't want to go to work today. I want to stay home and rest and relax. I'm so tired, I don't feel good, and I have to ask if I can leave early today to sign refinance paperwork (which I don't want to do since I've asked for so much time off lately).
Rave: DH has been super awesome lately - super attentive, really lovey-dovey, and just plain being an awesome husband.

Rant - (1) I cleaned up the living room and dining room last night only to have DH come home from his trip and let his suitcase explode in the middle of the floor.
(2) I have a f'n company picnic tomorrow that is mandatory. I don't want to go. I don't like being forced to hang out with people outside of work.
Rave - DH is home. His flights were late and he missed connections, etc. So I really didn't think he'd make it in last night.
lol. i know, i was up super early. actually, i keep having this like shoulder/chest weird thing happening and it's super weird. it was waking me up all night. i told my coworkers about it yesterday and they laughed.. it went away but came back every so often last night.. i'm kinda worried. but not really.. so i was up even earlier than i should have been and up WAYYY too late last night. barf.
guys! this is so exciting! So, my 'rant' could still be the sadness about that polka dot shirt because I haven't had the heart to put it in the mail, but it's going back tomorrow.
however, my RAVE is that I got this shirt the other day for $7 at Crossroads because I thought it was cute.
Got it out and looked at the label: it's 100% silk and a little googling told me it's from Anthropologie *fants*. I love that store, but can't justify the price right now. So this was probably a $$ (guess?) shirt I got for $7! So this more than makes up for the disappointment of that other shirt.
Side note: in this picture (and when I found it on a hanger), the front tie (that navy blue strip you see near the neck) is on the inside... is this some sort of fashion trend I'm not aware of?? I put it on the outside to try on and it's a nice slender bow. Weird.

you seriously need to get to the U district Goodwill and Crossroads! I am totally over Buffalo Exchange - I used to go there a lot, but now that these other two are here, it's pretty unappealing (way 'expensive' in comparison and I find much better things at the other two anyway).

Rant: I just NEVER want to go in to work anymore. I woke up at 8 this morning (when I usually am supposed to be leaving the house).
Rave: My boss is on vacation all week and most of next! I'm much happier without her here. She's not a bad person, but she just has one of those voices that makes everything come across as a nag and she gets all worked up about stupid sh!t and wants me to process something...so she can wander around the building for an hour getting in everyone's hair and lessening production? Anyway, nice break!
Rant: Went to neighborhood picnic in the new hood. Met a strange lady who is a CHARACTER...and who blatantly told me she came and dug up a plant and stole it from our yard sometime in the past month. Apparently she thinks it's ok because the plant ended up dying. WTF?!
Rave: King County had an info booth about kitchen composting and they gave us a FREE stainless steel kitchen compost bucket with a ton of compostable liners!
I'm really sorry about it, but this is hysterical!

Rant: I have a killer headache that doesnt seem to be going away! And H is oncall this weekend.
Rave: Im shopping with the bestie tommorrow for hawaii stuff (which is also another rave... vacation is coming up quickly)!
