I was checking out some spots to meet up with Lindsay & Kristi (and to feed Liz & me and whoever else wants to eat)
I found a few which are w/in walking distance of Il Bastardo

Re: NYC Sunday Breakfast
I love cafateria but they don't take reservations otherwise I would have taken you all there!
If you want something small check out petit abielle on 17th street and 6th ave (easy awlking distance)
I would totally join you, but I'm going to be slightly crazy and run 12 miles before brunch
Let's just say I will be eating A LOT at brunch, hahahaha

Petite abielle has all sort of smaller breakfast things.....they catered a client's meeting here and they had great pastries and muffins. OH or my other favorite place is Telegraphe cafe its on 18th street near 6th ave (just past the container store windows) they have tasty kieshes (sp?) and croissants and chocolate croissants...heaven.
And there is a starbucks and a mc. donalds on 6th ave up near 20th/21st (ish) if you are really wanting that.
Seriously it sounds like all I do is eat.....lol
Ummmm slightly crazy! Are you running in the park or are you going map out something else? Every morning I pass all the people running over on Riverside Drive but also and especially along the West Side Highway along the paths by the water....Looks SO nice!
Well all I do is eat, for real. Chocolate croissants sound amazing and that place sounds perfect. But I will seriously eat anywhere, Mel.
There's an Energy Kitchen in Hoboken that I go to all the time. It's really good, but there's not much seating. Not sure if the one in the city is the same. I haven't had the breakfast there but love it for lunch/dinner.
I wish I could stop by the Cake Boss bakery and bring you ladies some cannolis or pastries for breakfast... but the line is always like two blocks long.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I will probably loop the Park twice which is about 12 miles. I might actually be meeting a friend that lives in NYC as she is training for the NYC Marathon. It all depends on the time though
