Why is a weekend trip almost as much as a week long trip?

Ughhh.  J mentioned night before last that he would like to plan another trip.  I'm the planner.  I like it this way.  I have trip planning to Atlanta down to a science but I want to do somewhere different.  Nashville, Memphis or Tunica are my top 3 right now.  Cost is pretty much equal for the 3.  All have plenty to do.  All have plenty to see.  Now I just have to decide.....

Re: Why is a weekend trip almost as much as a week long trip?

  • I hear you.  I am planning a long weekend in New Orleans in November (Fri-Sun) and then a 5 day tour of Ireland (most meals-tour-hotels included) and Ireland is coming out CHEAPER or the same price as New Orleans.  I mean.....what?  I know it's because we're getting an awesome deal on the tour that even though flights to Ireland are more, it evens out.

I'd like to go to Nashville and Memphis someday so those get my vote!

  • We LOVE Nashville!

Of the 3, that gets my vote. :)
