AW Got Maddy a potty

I know she may not be quite ready to use it yet but I wnted to buy one so I could set her on it to start getting her used to the idea and when we do baths I will probably set her nekkid on it to do what she will before popping her in the tub.

So here is a picture of her on it fully clothed of course.

Re: AW Got Maddy a potty

  • Cute!  Which one did you go with?  We got M one a couple weeks ago, but she just plays with it now and sits on it before bath time.  She is infatuated with the real toilet, though!

  • It's the safety 1st ladybug potty, the wider ring part of it will transition to the big toilet when she is ready to start that part. Of course I don't know that she is really ready to even use the potty yet but we'll be putting her on it before each bath for a while I think.

  • Yay!  I got Levi the $10 Safety First potty for Easter.  He likes to sit on it; clothed, diapered, nekkid, and has been since we got it, but has never went potty in it.I don't think it's made right for a boy.  It has the cupped area to "prevent" spraying, but either the opening of the seat isn't wide enough or the cupped area isn't tall enough, I kinda have to point his pen!s down into the bowl...so now he does that.  He is also infatuated with taking the basin part out of the potty and putting anywhere else...like the tub, his bedroom, my bedroom, throwing it down the stairs....

Before baths, I'll tell him to go sit on the potty and he does.  The other day I put the insert on the toilet downstairs and he sat on there for about 2 minutes.  Nothing happened, I put his big boy pants on him, ran the sweeper, went to put him back on and he peed.  He does NOT like wet undies.
