Another HS reunion question
So apparently I was initially contacted about helping plan the reunion. But somehow there's been several "meetings" without me.
Anyway, they posted on our class' FB page several polls about time, date, location, cost, etc.
Their cost poll options per couple- $150 or $200+. WTF?
I've helped plan several nice weddings in Atlanta for less than $40pp including everything (but that would be a cash bar, which is fine since no one hosts a reunion and foots the bill).
I'm not seeing why it should cost so much.
Thoughts?
Re: Another HS reunion question
Is it possible this is being touted as a reunion but is some sort of fundraiser for the school?
Maybe they have cool presents for the people who are coming?
I am genuinely stumped. I don't think I'd go to my HS reunion if I was being paid to go....so the idea of paying that much has me scratching my head.
DH's reunion is $75 per person, CASH bar, and just apps. No meal. His is super expensive IMO, but his is also in San Diego.
Even if yours includes drinks and a meal, I still think $100/pp is expensive.
