I know it's a lot, but I have 2 T's & P's requests please:
1. My nephew fell asleep/passed out last night out of the blue at 6:15 without eating and he wouldn't nurse either, which never happens before bed! This is very abnormal for him. My sister said his heart rate rate got really fast for the first 40 min. We have a history of heart problems in our family (for one, my sister has had 2 heart surgeries), so it's quite concerning. Fortunately, my sister is a Pediatric Cardiac Surgery PA, so she took him to work with her this morning and he's currently sedated and getting an echo, EKG, and EEG. So, any healthy heart vibes for him would be much appreciated!
2. Margot is miserable teething her upper teeth right now. Yesterday was awful (and why I wasn't on at all). She had a temp between 100-102 all day yesterday, all I could do was walk around holding her, and her longest stretch of sleep last night was 2.5 hours. Her poor gums are SO inflamed and tender
She seems to be doing a little better today, but any easy teething vibes for her would also be very appreciated!
Thanks ladies!!
His heart is fine. They're waiting on the results of the EEG, but the Dr.'s think he had a seizure, since there was no waking him up last night... And he's the type that wakes up when a pin drops.
Re: T's & P's request UPDATE
Lots of T&P for your nephew and Margot. I hope everything goes well with the testing today.
I think Margot and Will are on the same teething schedule. It's been rough. I think I got about four hours of sleep last night.
Thanks, Stephanie! And, yes, they must be! I got about 4 hrs too. ::yawn:: Is he having a harder time with this round as well?
Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew. That must be very scary for your sister. I hope she gets some answers soon.
And I'm sending you and Margot happy baby vibes!
Oct.'13 Siggy Challenge: Cheers to Easter!
1. That's scary! T&Ps to them!
2. Hang in there! T&Ps for relief to Margot's poor little gums! (We're still working on Nate's last 2 teeth. He learned to say "me-cine" yesterday. Either he was hurting so much that he decided to learn to ask for it, or he's become a Motrin addict...)
Ts and Ps for both! It's good that your sister recognizes the signs though and can get him in so fast! I hope everything comes back normal!
Do freezing the teething ring thingy's still work? I'm not a mom and it seems like they are better things nowadays but I always wonder if those work...

Awwww, lol! That's cute though
Yes, very lucky!
Ya, she usually likes the refrigerated rings, but yesterday she would bite on one and then start wailing.... so, I think they just hurt too bad to even chew on things. Although, she did bit my bewbie a few times with her razor sharp bottom teeth. Youch!!!!!!
I think that's when I start the bottle!

It's been rough. He had no teeth at 11 months, so in the past few weeks he's cut four teeth.
I've made him "popsicles" with pureed baby food that seem to help soothe the pain.

That's a good idea! Margot mostly prefers chewing on our fingers or her own fingers... which was fine before she had bottom teeth! lol I did get her some foam bath toys that she loves chewing on too.
I know
They don't know, but said that children sometimes have a seizure and never have one again in their life, so I guess it's a wait and see kind of thing.
Yes. I had 2 or 3 before I was 3 years old. No one knows why. No lasting effects of them either. Just a very scary experience for my parents.
