Thanks, Tiff! Her party was today, it turned out well. We had a perfect day for it, and even though the house was a mess and I didn't get to do some of the fun party projects I was originally planning, it was fine. I was totally bawling as I put her to bed tonight--I didn't expect to be so emotional about her birthday, but it got to me! I just flash back to the night she was born and cannot even believe it has already been a year. I know you understand.

I absolutely understand. It goes SO fast. I'm loving this stage but the whole "turning a year old" thing really makes you miss the "firsts" too.
