labels/ stamp question

I want to put labels on some of the things I make and came up with a cute little design that has to do with my initials... I am wondering if the best way to do this for items that will be washed (a lot of the stuff I make is for babies) is getting a custom stamp and stamping ribbon with fabric paint. I've seen tutorials for transfer paper ribbon but I'm afraid that will peel off in the washer/ dryer.  Do you think I can make a stamp myself or should I order one on etsy? The stamp I am looking for would be less than 1/2" x 1/2" and is basically a heart.... it's VERY simple!

Thanks!

Re: labels/ stamp question

  • Check out misslabel.com. I think their small tags might be a easier way, and economical. They are also fast and I've been happy with their quality. I know it's not what you asked, but I thought maybe you hadn't heard of them before. :)
