Non Slip Baby Socks

Cold mornings, and her socks from last year have barely anything on the bottom to make them non slip. Or maybe slippers? Stores don't seem to be carrying baby slippers yet (she is a size 3 shoe and 6-12M socks). So what do you moms use for your toddling baby around the house? I am not a fan of shoes but could do shoes if needed...

Re: Non Slip Baby Socks

  • Nothing here yet but check LLBean. Jane was given slippers there that she loves. They are little lambs with a very sturdy rubber bottom. Ill get her more ins bigger size.
  • A lot of Taryn's socks are Circo from Target and she didn't have any problems with them.

I also saw on Pinterest to just use puffy paint on the bottom, let them dry, and ta-da! you make your own non-slip socks.

  • We LOVE the Hanes brand from Target. I obviously can't speak for the girl version, but we will never buy another kind of baby sock again!

    They look like THIS.

  • I've seen gripper socks, like full rubber bottoms at Target.  Don't know the brand or name.  We are going to get some for the twins for when it gets colder.  And I find it funny that Evie is only a size 3, when my girls are a 4 and 4.5....lol

Nolan's new shoes are a 5.5!!! My kid has monster feet.

  • For Lily I had always used Old Navy socks, they had the little rubber grips on the bottom of them. For the boys, I second the Hanes from Target. I would never use any other sock. They sell the Hanes for girls also, but they're harder to find in my area. I hate putting shoes on the kids for walking around the house. I leave them in just their socks most of the time.
Finally a Mrs as of June 7, 2008

I love the Hanes for boys too. They are the only ones that fit his fat little feet! I think we had a conversation about them once though and the moms of girls reported back they just weren't the same.

PS- I think Collin is finally in a size 5 now in the length of his feet at 21 months! He has the shortest, fattest (cutest of course) feet I have ever seen!
