What colors say Christmas to you?
I'm working on quilting new Christmas stockings for all 6 of us (much faster and cheaper than the original needlepoint ones I made for DH and DD). I have pulled together several patterns I'm going to use for the stockings, but can't decide on colors.
I'm very tradition when it comes to Christmas...my stocking is going to be varying shades of dark green and creams, DH wants vintage looking patriotic colors.
I don't want to do JUST red and green....do blues and golds or any other color combos come to mind as traditional colors for Christmas? Or should I just stick with varying shades of reds, creams, blues, and greens?

My fave colors are gold and burgundy.
This year I am planning on switching up my colors for Xmas cards and doing pinks, greens, and blues.

I'm not much of a tradiotionalist. I have a white xmas tree and I have done purple white and silver, blue white and silver (usually ice blue with navy thrown in), and last year I started with black white and silver which looked amazing. A lot of damask.
My mom does light pink and silver and white with hints of gold thrown in.
exactly what I was thinking!
