The OB came by and gave me the news friday night that the results came back from the amnio and that her lungs aren't mature enough yet for delivery so there will be no induction monday.

Of course I was super bummed and sad that I will be stuck here another week or two but I want to have a healthy LO that can go home with us so I am trying really really hard to be patient. From what the OBs originally said when I first got in here is that they are not going to let me go past 37 weeks regardless just to be on the safe side so I guess we will see. I will be 37 weeks a week from today but I won't be surprised if my OB decides to change their minds again for the millionth time. Sigh.. it might be a little bit more bearable if the dietary people would stop screwing up my food orders.. their food is crappy as it is especially since they have changed the entire menu over this weekend and NOTHING is within my carb allowance anymore so I have barely been eating anything and I am STARVING.. ugh!

Re: So...
Ugh, all of that sucks. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. At least they are looking out for the baby and hopefully it won't be much longer.
Can your H sneak you in food? I know hospital food sucks, especially when they don't pay attention to your needs.
I'm sorry sweetie! I wish there was a way I could make you feel better.

That bites. Grow (those lungs) LO grow!! Is there anyone you can talk to you in food service to see if they can accommodate you? Not cool to deprive a pregnant woman of her caloric intake! I would definitely talk to somebody!
Hopefully when we get back from our NYC GTG you will have good news!

Besides being very tired of the hospital and ready to meet your LO, how is the momma-to-be doing? Any changes related to the preeclampsia? I've been thinking about you and hope it hasn't gotten worse.
