Do you have to do and EFMP for every PCS?
This will be our first PCS and I heard a rumor that we needed to do an EFMP. When DH did his LEVY briefing they told him that we were good and didn't need one. Do I do one for all of us, just to be safe, or wait.
Thanks for your help.
Re: Do you have to do and EFMP for every PCS?
I've had to do them, but that's b/c we've stayed overseas. The most laughable was having to do one when leaving the minimal services of Korea to Hawaii, where they send anyone needing specialty care.
I don't think you have to do it if you're conus.
I know what you mean. Our clinics at Lakenheath were sooo understaffed that they couldn't even see me to fill out the medical paperwork (which required an appt) yet we were being sent within 45 minutes of the capitol city of the state we're in now with tons of doctors (not to mention high risk OBs.) Absolutely ridiculous.
Thanks for your help. Since my youngest is two, then I;ll have to do one for her, and my other one is four, so I'll have to redo it.
The overseas screening and EFMP are separate. IF someone in the family is enrolled in EMFP, their paperwork must be current and up to date in order for the overseas screening to be completed. Does this make sense? I hope so!
