Confession: I called someone some bad names and I don't feel bad about it now

Last week I had a bunch of little errands to run and I was running late. I was slightly in a bad mood because of this.

I was driving in a parking lot and making a left turn. I didn't have a stop. This old dude (not stopping at a stop sign) comes out of no where and cut me off, then slammed on his breaks in front of me then starts yelling at me for not yielding to him.

My windows were open, so I might have yelled back something like "I don't have a stop sign you d0uchebagmutherfvcker! Watch where you're going!"

Then someone else yells at me (people sitting in front of Starbucks) "hey, there are kids out here"

So then I drive off and go home, slightly fuming. Then I starting wondering if I did have a stop. I've spent the last week feeling a little guilty yelling at the dude and wondering if I was wrong.

I drove back through that same parking lot last night, driving the same route and I looked. I definitely did not have a stop.

I totally over reacted, but I don't feel bad for calling him a d0uchebagmutherfvcker any more. Embarrassed

There. I had to tell someone.

  • Yes Never feel bad calling a douchebag a douchebag.  The kids would have heard those words eventually anyhow, might as well as been then.

There is something so infuriating when someone yells at YOU when you were following the rules and they were not. This one time I was driving down a one lane road behind a building...like an access road. And this woman in a minivan is going the wrong way. I politely pulled to the side to let her pass...not getting mad b/c anyone can make a mistake. Then she has the ball to yell at ME saying that I was going the wrong way. I double checked that I was right and then yelled "Look at the arrow you dyslexic b!tch!" She had a child in the backseat. Double Embarrassed

    LOL! OMG LOL!

  • This made me giggle. Does that make me a bad person? :D

Whenever I was in the right and the other person is bitching at me and I try to *** back...my window is up and it's not as satisfying. Of course, I also get severely ticked off when I make a mild mistake and go through all the gestures of mouthing "I'm sorry" and flinching, etc. Then there's the times that the other person is screaming at me because they almost hit me when I was justified in pulling out because they turned on to a RESIDENTIAL street AFTER I started pulling out and THEY'RE going WAY TOO FAST. *fume* Not that this last thing has happened to me at least 3 times in the past 2 weeks or anything...

  • Good for you.

I'm guilty of doing this on more than one occasion.

  • LOL I get yelled at all the time for things that aren't my fault on the road... I usually just get annoyed and ignore them, but I bet it felt good to let him have it!
