Any ideas on where to donate used toys?
We are doing a used toy drive and I'm trying to find a place that will take them.
Gently used of course!
I'm thinking it would have to be a place that actually uses the toys opposed to those givng the toys to the kids. Not sure why i think that but it would seem better/easier to give new toys but a lot of the moms in my group don't have the 5$ to spare.
Ideas - thoughts?

hospitals do not generally take used toys (for infection control reasons).
women's shelters or family shelters will usually take them.

No. Most if not all only use new/ unopened toys and then sterilizes them several times a day.
Of course they sill have toys just control where they come from.
