Gift for a librarian
Is anyone here a librarian?
My best friend got her MLS last year and just got her first librarian job (adolescent section).
Any suggestions for a library-related congratulatory gift? She has a Kindle but I get her an Amazon gift card for nearly every birthday/Christmas. She doesn't drink, so a bottle of wine/champagne wouldn't work. I already got her this librarian action figure when she got her MLS. She writes her own book review blog.

It sounds boring, but she might like a nice business card holder. YA librarians visit local schools and usually do a fair bit of outreach in the community, and you end up doling out your business card quite a bit. Even in-house to patrons. If not that, well every librarian needs a nice cardigan. Or a membership to her state library association or the American Library Association if she doesn't already have one. If it was me (I get my MLS in December), I'd want a clothing gift card to update my work wardrobe.
