I see CBS is airing a 9/11 special. Is there a Big Brother tonight? The finale is Wed and I assume there has to be an episode before that to bring it from final 3 to final 2, right?

Yep. I think the final stage of the HOH competition will be played, the winner will pick who they want to go to final two with them, and then voting will happen all live. (And of course they'll show the footage from the first two parts of the HOH competition.)
Also, it's extended to 90 minutes after the 90 minute Survivor premier.
