Looks like I missed a lot. OMG! Jesspacatc and LPQueenie!! Congrats ladies! Awesome news.
Jen K -- t&ps for you.
We had a fantabulous time.
Interesting discoveries:
1. In Germany and Austria, when you go to ride the subway trains, you buy your ticket or pass at the machine, and then get on the train. You don't show it to anyone or swipe it anywhere to prove you have it. They just trust you. Um, yeah, I don't think that would work in New York.
2. Almost no one jaywalks. They all stand at the corner, waiting for the crosswalk sign to change. Even if there is no traffic around for miles and miles.
3. Austria is NOT a vegetarian-friendly country. Thank God they seem to be having a love affair with caprese -- I cannot tell you how much tomato and mozzarella I ate there. And in everything else I found there, they cooked the vegetables until they were barely-recognizable mush.
4. My limit for vacations away from home is about 6 days before I start getting really cranky and just want to go home.
So, now I have much unpacking and laundry to do, and have to keep myself busy until the 15th when I go back to the doc to get another beta drawn and have an u/s. I have to say, I don't feel ANY symptoms of pregnancy at this point (5 weeks tomorrow), which of course is making me nervous. Last time I'm pretty sure my boobs were really sore by now, at least. Someone tell me it's too soon for symptoms and I should stop worrying.
Re: Back from our trip
Welcome home! I am excited for Europe summer 12 and *may* go away this winter without Dh and kids to Europe/Asia, still working out details with my parents. I agree the honor system would not work in NY.
Every pregnancy is different! I had sore boobs immediately with Jack and nothing with Charlotte to tell me I am pregnant. So don't worry!!
Welcome back,Glad you had a great time.
I wouldnt worry to much about not feeling symptom's i really didnt feel pregnant or have symptoms until about the 8th or 9th week.Good luck with the pregnancy what a wonderful surprise.

And i agree with PP. Every pregnancy is different...I had a very good pregnancy...my friend who is due 11/19 is having a horrible one. I didn't have symptoms until like week 6 or after.
