Who's here today? How was your weekend?
Re: Monday Morning Check-in
I am ( obviously).
We had a relativity good weekend and have finished with 98% of the bathroom! So excited that I have to no longer use the horrible basement bathroom.
The only issue we had was buying a $200 toilet that someone had switched with a cheap, barely flushable $58 toilet. We bought the toilet for less b/c the store didn't have the one we wanted and after waiting almost an hour, they discounted the only other toilet in the store that met our speficiations.
We get home and halfway through the instillation we realize the product numbers weren't matching and the flush handle was in an akward spot. After another trip to HD to do some research we realized that someone had switched the toilets. Then there was another trip to actually bring the toilet back and get another one.
Now all that's left is to hang the fixtures, seal the tile and then clean up but at this point it's functional. Whohoo!
I'm here. Weekend was OK. Went to a newcomers event in our town Saturday in the hopes of meeting people and it was a bust. I am destined to be friend-less. *sigh*.
Yesterday DH went to work and I was a nervous wreck. I watched some of the 9/11 coverage/reading of the names in the AM as I try to do every year. Then Janie and I met my Mom and Sister at the Playground. Jane was a tough cookie yesterday so I was completely wiped by the time she went to bed (and then work up yelling - not crying. Yelling) at 4AM today. Woof.
I got my new tablet at work today so that's fun - been playing with it since I got in
Eta: just wanted to test if i can post from tablet and i can-sweet!
I am. Today is my day off. I just have to get through Tuesday-Saturday at work and I will be off for my staycation for a week. I can't wait.
This past weekend was okay, I just worked all weekend like usual. I also got to watch the Redskins win yesterday with my family. That was the most exciting part of my weekend.
I'm here, waiting for the city to finish flushing the sewers so that I can get out of my driveway to run some errands.
Weekend was same ol', same ol'. DH worked Saturday and we did some shopping yesterday and I started getting my hospital bag ready (eek!).
I'm bummed though...DH gets to go on a Manager's Outing with work Tues-Thursday at a nice resort on Lake Erie. I wanted to get a room for me and Taryn (well, DH too but I'd have to book separate) so that we can enjoy the resort and spend time with him after he's done with work functions but it's $200/night and I just can't spend that right now. He gets to go have fun and I get to stick to my daily routine of cleaning and schoolwork. Boo. Plus, I hate being home alone at night. yes, I'm a big baby!
Ohhh---we finally agreed on a name for baby girl #2! Woohoo!
My boring blog
I am here. Have a cold from Evie. Head all fuzzy and nose clogged. And have a cold sore on my bottom lip.
Weekend was ok. She was cutting 4 molars this weekend (I think 4 but maybe just 3). That on top of a cold. Was lots of fun. We went to a 3rd birthday party on Saturday. Got there late since she did not sleep well last night and needed a good nap. Stayed for an hour, then she wanted to sleep more so went home.
Sunday Nick put her little tikes cozy coupe together and she had so much fun with us pushing her around on the street!

I'm here! I had a good weekend.
The surprise party went well and my sister was surprised
I really had a good time staying with my parents on Friday night. I'm never at my parent's house without DH and I got to spend a lot of quality time with just them so it was nice. I should do that more often.
We drove back home Saturday night and went out with two other couples to a bar outside on a lake. We ended up going back to one of their homes that was close by and playing poker until 2am.
Sunday we worked on painting and putting up kitchen trim. This week we just need to finish painting and we'll have everything pretty much back together. I'm so excited that we're almost finished. We still need to renovate the half bath and redo the mantle but I can handle those small projects if we can just get our main living areas back to normal.
Hi ladies. Not looking forward to this week, have to work all week after having two short weeks in a row
Weekend was good, nothing exciting. Went out with some girlfriends Friday night. Did some shopping on Saturday, needed a dress for a wedding in a couple weeks, have I mentioned I hate maternity clothes?
But got a great dress for a steal at Gap. Bummed around mostly yesterday, printed some pictures and DIY art for the gallery wall in our hallway, and found some new recipes to try this week.

I'm here.
Weekend was alright. Dh went golfing Saturday morning and got back just in time to watch football so it was pretty much just Kayleigh and me. Yesterday we went out to lunch and failed to find new shoes for me. But my team ended up winning so that made me so happy.
Today we're going to the dry cleaner to get our comforter cleaned...going to be a low of 39 in a few days...gross. Then to Target.
Come play with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
So?? Spill it woman!
Weekend was very busy, but good.
My brother came up to visit from Virginia, so he stayed at my house Fri night. Sat was a big family party at my mom's house, and then yesterday I did a bunch of stuff around the house.
Last week was SO hectic, I am looking forward to a nice, easy week. Little man in my belly wants Mama to sit and veg a little bit
I know!! and we should do it soon before that belly of yours turns into an outside baby
Sadly, I'm thinking our original park idea won't be good for very much longer. We may have to do the Mall. Lunch and shopping - Jack's ideal day, I'm sure. Jane's too, haha.
I am around next Saturday? Weekend of 24th I'm away but after that I'm fairly open.....

16 read! my read shelf:
My weekend was okay. I hurt my back last week and it's really limited what I can do, which is frustrating.
Saturday, I went to my college roommate's baby shower. Had a good time, but I had it in my head that it started at 2 pm, and it actually started at 12:30 pm. AND it was 2+ hours away. I, of course, made this discovery at 10:25 am while still in my pajamas. Awesome. And driving was so uncomfortable because of above.
Sunday was church (fun because we told people about the baby) and then I worked ALL DAY. I took one 30 minute break from grading/projects/etc. until 10 pm. I am still behind!

My Blog of Randomness - Pocketful of Roses
I am here. We just got back last night from a week in Portland. It was lots of fun and the wedding was awesome but I am exhausted. I handled the time change pretty well but we were so busy all week with site seeing and wedding stuff that I didn't get as much sleep as a normally do. We took tons of pics that I will post on facebook this week. Oregon is a beautiful state and DH and I definitely want to go back.
Now I need to get the piles of laundry done and get to the grocery store when all I really want to do is go home from work tonight and take a nap!
I'm around some today. I should be cleaning and sorting through some clothes of Alex's. I need to make the summer/fall clothes switch and now it's just a big pile of clothes on the floor. Ugh!
The weekend was good. Saturday we spent the day at my nephew's birthday party. It was a great day at the park and then a little campfire in my brother's backyard after. Sunday I got some fall decorations and put them up. I wanted to do more but something was going on with me Sat/Sun and I was super dizzy/crampy so I didn't do too much.
I'm here for a bit.
My weekend was good. We were in Arizona for the Mizzou game. We lost, but it was a great game....we were totally bummed. My idea of a reconnecting weekend didn't really pan out. We were exhausted from traveling on Thursday. Friday during the day we were with my BIL for a lot of the day exploring the Phoenix/Tempe area. Obviously the loss killed any sort of mood that might have happened that night. Saturday our flight didn't get in until almost midnight so, again, we were exhausted. Oh well. It was still a good trip together.
Now I am totally dreading this work week. The last two weeks were short weeks for me so I'm not looking forward to a full week...although after this week - I have 2 short weeks in a row again. Haha.
I'm here today just checking in while I'm sitting at the "milk machine" on my lunch hour
Our weekend was good. I worked at out big fundraiser for the rescue I volunteer with all day Saturday and went to my 9 year old nephew's first tackle football game yesterday. Cullen cheered him on
I'm here, kid is napping and I'm enjoying some coffee.
Weekend was pretty good, I went to my mom's on Saturday since DH was at the tailgate/ game all night. I made crab cake burgers on pretzel roll buns for dinner for the first time, and they were phenomenal. Definitely a repeat recipe.
We spent Sunday doing some much needed cleaning and organizing, and I put out all my fall decorations-- yay!
I'm happy to report that I have the entire evening to myself. DH is going to grad school and taking Natalie to his mom's. Unfortunately, I'm going to be spending it either doing more organizing or studying. Lame.
Tessa Nicole
Tessa was my second choice, and the only name that I liked period, that grew on DH. He agreed that if I "voted" Tessa (over Lacey) that her middle name could be Nicole. So now both girls will have part of me in their names (Taryn and I share a middle name).
I'm here and had a great weekend. Saturday I attended a funeral for my sisters BFF's mom. It was sad. After that we had a BBQ at our house for my family, since my mom is visiting this week to meet my new niece. It was a lot of fun. Mostly because I got to play with my 2.5 yr old nephew who I adore. Sunday I hung out at my Dad's visiting my brothers, mom and nephew again. Then we headed to a wedding at 6m. It was an odd time for a full 6-11p wedding, but we had a great time.
Best part of the weekend: I finally got DH on board with re-doing our back yard. He got so motivated that he took today off to stat working on it
I'm here, checking in while half listening to a conference call. I have been soooo crazy busy today. Absolutely swamped. This conference call really needs to end so I can get back to work (everything I need to do involves making calls).
The weekend was pretty good. Michigan State won on Saturday morning, which was great, except I spent the rest of the day after that working. Sunday was nice and relaxing, though. Slept in, and went on a 26 mile bike ride, mostly along the beach, which was fun.
Welp, no longer morning but I am here now! We had a great weekend:)
My little sister got married, and DH, myself and Liam were all in the wedding! It was super hectic especially since L is cutting molars right now so he was not himself this weekend, but so fun to enjoy time with family, friends and dance my heart out:)
