I just got back from a work trip in Charleston. We stayed downtown and it was FABULOUS. We eat at some marvelous restaurants - Magnolia's, High Cotton, Peninsula Grill, and Kaminsky's Dessert Bar.
I told DH I would definitely consider moving down there. Now I need to start working my contacts!
Re: RAVE: Charleston, SC
Charleston is one of my favorite cities - I lived there for a summer in college and fell in love.
I've always said that I'd seriously consider moving there if a job opportunity came up!
Aw, man, if I knew I coulda met you for coffee if you had a work break! Otto was there for work too and I tagged along. We were there Tues. - Fri. I don't know if we'd move there, but I'm really happy he'll (WE'LL!) be visiting there about twice a year for awhile. It was gorgeous and I liked the size of the town. I was so happy wandering around while he was working.
Did you take advantage of Restaurant Week? We had an amazing meal at 82 Queen.
oh man, I miss Kaminskys - we would always go there after TBonz.
were there any kids trying to sell you Palmetto roses ? lol
During the day we were way out at the Base. We missed 82 Queen, but the other places were fab! 82 Queen is on the must do for my next trip!
