I know a few of you are due in Sept. How are you feeling? Do you have everything ready? I'm due Oct 7th but having a repeat c-section on Sept 29th.
Re: Sept. babies
I was due in September, but Brooklyn wanted to come early on Tuesday last week!!
Hope your c-section goes well and I hope you recover fast

hi ladies! I know I have been MIA for awhile now, and my laptop is broken so I don't get on much these days. I'm due a week from tomorrow and can barely wait any longer, the end is much more difficult then I ever imagined but I am very lucky to be off of work now at least. Everyone keeps saying 'rest up' and 'get your sleep' - if only I could sleep!
We go today for another growth scan (probably our 5th?) to check how big he is. He has always measured ahead and our last scan at 37 weeks he measured 39 weeks (over 90th percentile) so I hope now it isn't 41 weeks! lol
The closer he gets to 10 pounds the more likely I need a c-section, and 10 pound baby boys are normal in DH's family. yikes!
manda- I was early by a little over a week, and doctor told me the baby wouldn't be too big... well, she was 8lbs. 4oz... I set the record in my entire family... and dh and I both fairly petite compared to the rest of our families so it was such a big shock. I was only 7lbs. 3oz. and I was overdue a month... so he may be measuring big, but come out smaller (or more of a "regular" size?) My little Brooklyn was too big to fit through my pelvis so that created intense pain on top of my SPD and and excessive tearing (TMI)... but she still came naturally... there's hope! (If you're wanting natural at least)
Thank you all for the congrats. We are all just settling in to home life and trying to understand Brooklyn's demands
We have had visitors every day since coming home so we are all excited to get some quiet so we can devise our own system and routines. Wishing everyone safe and relatively symptom free pregnancies....and again Manda... LABOR DUST TO YOU!!!
Just put a few in my signature
It's been a busy few weeks, to say the least
Thank you!! I bet you're getting anxious and excited!!
@Faith - I totally missed your posting, but congrats on little Brooklyn! Glad to hear you're all doing well!
@Sboo & Amanda - hope you both are feeling well in these final weeks! Make sure you come and update us as soon as your little ones arrive
