Highs? Attending the NICU Reunion on Saturday and watching the Ravens kick Steeler butt!
Lows? I didn't sleep very well last night. It probably didn't help that thunder rolled through Harford County late last night and Annabelle freaked out.
Eat/make anything good? Tried out Pat's Pizzaria and got the Crab dip, which was tasty.
Watch anything good? We watched some of the 9/11 ceremonies yesterday.
Read anything good? nope

Highs? Seeing my sister and her husband who were in town briefly.
Lows? I wasn't productive enough I have so much housework to do!

Watch anything good? Nothing out of the ordinary. Still watching Man Men on Netflix.

Vent: DH and I were discussing the hypothetical purchase of a SFH in the future and it's kind of depressing. He's so negative about it and always dwells on the fact that we bought our current house at the wrong time and will now be lucky to sell it for what we paid for it. Yeah, that sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it, that's how the market was back then. It's so frustrating to talk to him about this because he thinks we're doomed to live in our townhouse forever and he's overreacting.

Confession: I have 2 related ones. First, my kid is only 3 months old and I'm already super excited for when it's time to have another one! Also, I'd really like to have 3 kids, but I think DH will cut me off at 2

Highs? I was really tired all weekend but it was great to get out and catch a bite to eat child-free with some of my favorite ladies on here Also, last night I was reading Sean a story and the baby was moving a lot and I asked Sean if he wanted to feel the baby kick. He sat there with his hand on my belly for a good 5 minutes with a huge grin on his face and his eyes really big. Then the baby stopped for a minute and he leans over and yells into my belly button "Hey! Brother! Kick me!" lolol.
Lows? Um, that game yesterday. Yikes. WTF was that? I have to say that the Ravens fans in my news feed have been surprisingly gracious about it and I am not seeing the usual stupid trash talk.Except for one person who is new to being a football fan and seems to think that means only saying bad things about other teams.

Highs? Our granite was installed Friday and drywall went up yesterday - woohoo!!, the MNO was fun Saturday
Lows? I realized this morning that I really should have gone to the grocery store

Read anything good? No - I finished my book for book club (that I apparently can't attend anyway. .. so now, I need a new book)
Comments, FFC's, vents? I have some ridiculous allergy issue that is giving me a dry cough and I had insomnia last night - I think I had ~3 hours of sleep last night - possibly 2. DH has a sore throat went to bed at 9 and slept soundly - this morning he was all whiney about his sore throat (and slept in an hour) ummmm - no sympathy from me.

Highs? Going to Harvest Fest at North Beach with my mom, husband and pooch.
Lows? Finding out a family friend is being taken off life support today.
Eat/make anything good? Chicken gyro, kettle corn and birthday cake.
Watch anything good? I was impressed with the True Blood and Entourage finales.
Read anything good? Still reading the same book - Home Again by Kristin Hannah. I will probably re-start the latest Sookie Stackhouse book though now that the show is over.
Comments, FFC's, vents? I have to go to Baltimore this afternoon for work and I'm really dreading it. Also we went to my IL's for dinner last night and luckily I didn't eat much b/c DH has been sick all night and didn't go to work b/c he can't go far from the bathroom. Two Christmases ago my Dad ended up in the ER after eating at their house. And DH wonders why I don't like eating over there...

ETA: I'm really excited my friend and I just got tix to see the Michael Jackson Cirque show!!!!!

Highs? Some friends came over on Saturday, it was fun to see them and their baby. Lows? Most of the weekend was a low except for above- I was in a car accident last week (not my fault) and was in pain for most of the weekend. Eat/make anything good? Baja Fresh on Friday and pizza Saturday- cooking is not easy right now and we never/rarely get carryout so it's been fun to have an excuse. Watch anything good? True Blood Read anything good? Comments- I've been feeling really grateful for the past few days, it sucks being in pain but dealing with the accident fallout has been much easier than I expected and everyone has been very nice.

Um...my weekend SUCKED. DH threw out his back a week ago and has been stubbornly refusing to let it heal - so Saturday morning he was to the point where he couldn't even walk. DS has been running a low fever and just generally feeling like crap. We've got a ton of stuff going on at the house right now and I was going into the weekend with a shitton of work even before I got a call at 5:30 Friday evening staffing me on a new public/public deal.

And on top of everything I got to watch DH laid up on the couch seeing the Steelers get obliterated yesterday. I'm sure most of the board loved it, but Brad bleeds black and gold.

Oh - and my dad came last night to stay over so that I could leave super early for work (he watches DS on Mondays) and he ended up spiking a fever too. So I had him lying on the other couch sick as a dog.

I. am. so. tired.

Highs? Spent Saturday night with my BFF.
Lows? Got pushed into the mud during my half-marathon on Sunday. My hip got slammed into the ground and I "ran" my slowest half time. Not good! Driving home I proceeded to get hit by a rock and chipped my windshield.
Eat/make anything good? DH made french toast for breakfast on Saturday.
Watch anything good? All of the 9/11 Memorials were really good.
Read anything good? Started reading Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner.
Comments, FFC's, vents? I'm really bummed about running. I haven't had a good race since December and it's wearing on me. I wanted to have faster times this year and my times have gotten slower. It's just frustrating.

Highs? Football!! My Eagles winning, getting a date lunch out with DH.
Lows? Feeling crappy for most of it and still having residual pain from not feeling well.
Eat/make anything good? Had the best crabs of the season last night. Sooo meaty and delicious.
Watch anything good? Football and some really moving 9/11 coverage. I don't want to call that "good" but it was important and very tastefully done, IMO.
Read anything good? Still reading The Hunger Games when I am not reading text books.

My answers:

Highs: Went to a wedding saturday night. Definitely fun. it was H's family and I was the DD, so not crazy fun, but it was nice to see my BIL who we never see, and the food was good, bride was pretty, etc etc.

Lows: Didn't even get close to done with our to-do list for the weekend.

Eat/Make anything Good? Threw together some test batches of salsa for my niece's first birthday fiesta. Had my first day of football food, which was awesome at the time, though I regretted it later.

Watch anything good? football!

Read anything good? Nope, no reading this weekend.

Highs: Got Faith's 2 month picture taken yesterday which turned out awesome.

Lows: We were supposed to also get pictures of all three kids but Ava refused--gotta love 2 yr olds! All she kept saying was "I wanna get outta hear"..lol

Eat/Make anything Good? Finished off a hot milk cake I made..YUM, oh and DH got me a piece of cheesecake last night which was delicious.

Watch anything good? Um duh...the RAVENS!

Read anything good? I have had zero time for reading unfortunately.
