UK Nesties- Home decor places on the cheap?
I am working on a blog entry and inspiration for our master bedroom (to be finished by next Monday hopefully!!!)
Besides H&M, Next, Ikea, Dunlem Mills, Matalan, TK Maxx... where else could I look?
Thanks!
Re: UK Nesties- Home decor places on the cheap?
These aren't cheap but they all have brilliant sales in January and I think you get what you pay for when it comes to beds and linens. Or maybe they could still be a source of inspiration?
The White Company
Anthropologie
Heal's
Toast
Laura Ashley
House of Fraser
Feather and Black
Habitat went into administration this summer and was sold to the group who own Argos. I think everything outside of London is now closed.
I like Zara Home too!
There's also a Homegoods equivalent owned by TK Maxx but I forget the name - Callatini knows it!
Homesense!
Love it. As laurimi said it's Homegoods, just with a name change.
How to Play House blog
ooops- I see you already thought of NEXT. Sorry!
I so can not wait for my first paycheck! This is our last month surviving on DH's graduate stipend alone... When I was laid off in March I was making over $60k/year so its been quite a tight few months...
We did splurge at Homegood this AM on all our paint for the house.. (less than 100GBP not counting the last bit for the hallway)
Thanks for all the great ideas.. will be checking them out online and downtown
I too love Zara home and they have great sales from time to times
Check British Home Stores. I bought really pretty lamps there at very good prices (15 pounds or something) earlier this year. http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/departmentpage.cfm/bhsstore/233621/1/1
I would also check Tesco direct. I picked up their catalog at the store yesterday and I have to say they have a huge selection of home stuffs. I haven't checked their website.
