Costume Ideas needed..
Our neighbors invited us to a costume party next month. They get really into halloween and I'm kind of excited to go. Its an opportunity to branch out a little. The Dude hates halloween and costumes but he'll suck it up and go.
I need ideas! I'm down for a couple theme or individual.

People always say no when I suggest this but I have to because DH and I did it one year and it was hysterical.
I literally went to Walmart and bought two large sheets and cut out eyes and mouths and we were "ghosts". It was such a trashy looking, poorly put together costume that it was kind of the hit of the party because of how bad it was. Plus we could easily ditch it to play beer pong
JRM - Trust me, she's getting a costume this year! Unfortunately she's not invited to the party so she'll be left out of this one. And just for you, I was thinking maybe we'd be Thing 1 and Thing 2.

You see, another reason we should have gotten those shirts the first year.
I know! I kick myself now. Except they probably would have said Drunk Thing and I'm not sure I'd want to sport that to our neighbors house where we won't know a ton of people. ha.

so we usually do themes for the parties annually and then dh and i decide what to be based on that.
superheros- batman and catwoman
rockstars- dolly parton and kenny rogers
reality tv- we chose to go infomercials, billy mays and suzanne sommers (thigh master)
funny one my friend h and her dh were a rich guy and a gold digger. on her- a gold dress, spray painted and bedazzled shovel and hard hat. on him- robe, ascot, slippers and a pipe.
i have also seen a dog the bounty hunter and beth but with the husband in drag.
There's a couple's costume on Pinterest that cracks me up. They're dressed like a big bra. Let me find the picture...it will make more sense.

Oh and my sister had one of the best costumes I've ever seen the one year (along with a friend). She went to a party thrown by her now husband, who was then just her coworker. She and a friend got their ID badges blown up and cut holes out of their faces and held them up. They got the idea from another guy who did that with his license (he blacked out his info), but it was hysterical. So they all basically went as "themselves".
