How was your weekend?
I threw out my back and couldn't go to the fabled bridal shower, which pissed off my brother and fsil.
I'm still in pain and headed to the doctor's today.

I hope you feel better Lachute. Back pain is the worst. I do find it kind of amusing that in the end you didn't end up going to the shower...and for a legit reason at that.
My weekend was pretty busy. Saturday I got to visit my friend who had her baby last Tuesday and then had another friend's son's 1st birthday party. I was exhausted when I finally got home.
Yesterday I finished 90% of the nursery after the Eagles game. I will post some pics in a separate thread so as not to usurp this one. I also did ALL of the baby's clothes for up to 6 months and just have a lot of folding and putting away to do. AND I finally finished my shower TY notes, at just under a month later, which is a record for me as I am the biggest TY note slacker in the world (can you say 7 months after my wedding?)
ugh lachute. that stinks. hopefully you can get something to help when you go to the doc today. feel better! the weekend was pretty good. dh was in ny working so i was flying solo in dc with the little man. we just chilled on friday night, did some laundry, straightened up the house, nothing to crazy.
saturday we hung out with one of my good dc friends who i don't see nearly often enough. hit up our local bar's patio for the afternoon and then went to a going away party. late night for the little man- 830!!!! so he was good and tired when we got home.
sunday- went to mass and then headed out to leesburg to go outlet shopping. scored some great fall work clothes for me, a sweet pair of cole haans and some cutie stuff for the kiddo.
Kind of eerie here. I didn?t go 10mins outside without seeing armed law enforcement of some type. Lots and lots of sirens and a heightened sense of anxiety that I have never experienced before. I kind of blame it on having the kiddo now, my family being safe is much more of a priority and in the front of my mind. At least it cut down on the number of tourists in town.
My batchelorette party was Saturday night. We got put into the Pope Room at Buca De Beppo, which triggered an anxiety attack. Once we left everything was better. We went to Jolly's which was awesome, and then to R2L. I had a great time even though I nursed Diet Coke all night.
WHO MAKES A WHOLE ROOM FULL OF PICTURES OF POPES?
Sunday was my shower which was overwhelming but awesome. We got so much stuff, I have no idea where to put it all. And I got to see JRM and JenD in all their pregnant glory (seriously gorgeous pregnant ladies).
And after all the posts on here about how tedious it is to watch people open presents at showers, I ripped through that like it was a race.
I'm SO TIRED today.
Saturday The Dude and I started ripping down the walls of our enclosed front porch. We are another weekend or two away from having a nice open porch!
Sunday we did more work and then it was off to Beagle's shower!!! She is by far the best present opener ever. A. Shes SUPER excited about everything, which is fun and B. She's super fast. Which is much appreciated. ha. Good times

Sat. Dan had a game in the morning and Ryan had off so we got some more projects done around the house. Sunday, I was able to do the floors, so happy to watch the Eagles and started with my picture projects. Nothing too exciting.

Friday night was an unsuccessful house hunting night.
Saturday was MIL's 60th bday, so I went for pedicures for her, then we had a big dinner out w/20 people that night.
Sunday was my mom's bday, so we went out to Jersey to hang and have dinner.
I'm tired.
Had a nice relaxing weekend- got some things done around the house and spent time with family. It was nice, because the next week is going to be crazy for me with work.
Lachute- I am sorry to hear about your back. I hope the doctor can help you out.

I had a great weekend down the shore. It was string band weekend. Dh and I went down thursday night, it was just us and one other couple, which happens to be dh's cousin, we had the whole motel to ourselves. Then everyone starting coming in at all times on friday. we were the welcoming committee.
Weather was great. Glad to be home though. Missed the pup.
lachute- i think its kind of funny adfter all that hoorah you still never made it to that stupid shower. i do hope your back feels better real soon though!
friday we celebrated five years of wedded bliss and dh's birthday at Ralph's with our families. Saturday we took a ride to Ocean city, just did a few rides, played some golf, and finished up at our favorite seafood dive in somers point. it was a nice day. yesterday i did a billion loads of laundry and some straightening up around the house. then while dh enjoyed his football, i took the kids to a benefit for a girl i grew up with thats battling stage 5 brain cancer. so sad.
dh is going out of town tonight for a week for his new job. i think i may start a wine induced coma right now.
