Is it unreasonable to ask the pet sitter to change the litter?
Martin and I will be going away for 18 days, we will be having a pet sitter come once a day to care for them.
The little monsters have 3 litter boxes scattered around the house
Usually we scoop the litter at least 2x a day and clean the boxes completely once a week.
Do you think it is unreasonable to ask the pet sitter to change the litter in the three boxes 1/2 way through? I don't want the boxes to get too dirty...
Also, what is a reasonable tip for that time period? TIA!

Re: Is it unreasonable to ask the pet sitter to change the litter?
I would definitely ask them to over that long of a trip! And they should expect it for that long of a trip.
I don't tip on my petsitter's daily rate but I usually bring her a gift. (she's a neighbor, not a pro service that I hired)
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
