Need nestie help - UK Car insurance???
Holy crap, we've had our car insurance with Direct Line for nearly 2 years on DH's international licence, we just changed it over to his UK driving licence and it WENT UP to ?180/month!!!
We've been calling around and everyone is saying that yes, as he's just changed his license to a UK one he's classified as a new driver - gaaaah! WTF?!?!
14 years of driving with no claims, no accidents, nothing... and we're paying insurance rates like a teenager in a sports car!
Any ideas?
