Ok, so I've been working from home (aka putzing around pretending to work), but starting next week Emily goes to daycare and I work for real. She's doing one week with Grandma, then starts real daycare.
I was worried about her going to a stranger, so I took her over there today to meet our DC lady. She's really nice, and like a Grandma but it's still hard! She has a total of 5 kids plus Emily during the day. Emily was amazed at all the kids (all preschool and under age) and couldn't stop watching them. She even smiled when I was talking to one little girl.
DC lady held her for a little bit. She started to cry, pooped her diaper and then fell asleep. So maybe that's a good thing? It's so hard sending her away. I know most of you ladies understand. Hopefully the first week at Grandma's will get me used to the idea of not having her around all day. Booo ![]()

Exactly this! It's much more easier for me when I drop him off and he gets right down to play. It's def hard at first, but you'll adjust really well.
(((hugs))) I'm right there with ya.
