I lurved the finale.
I am iffy on the Newlin and Edgington stuff coming next season. I was hoping it would be a couple more seasons before Russell returned.
I am surprised there was no panther baby announcement.
I hope Sookie doesn't go back with Bill. But I enjoy Bill and Eric working together. My favorite part of the episode was Eric saying "What. A. B!tch." after he killed Nan.
Re: True Blood (spoilerific)
I totally rolled my eyes at the Kelly Taylor "I choose me" scene. I still think Sookie is the worst friend ever.
I won't be sad if Tara is gone for good. They've pretty much done all they can with her. And if Lafayette is a medium, she can still show up occasionally and annoy me. I'm wondering, though, if Bill/Eric will turn her. Considering how much she hates vampires, that would be weird. I do hope they figure out a way (BOOK SPOILER) to bring in Amelia, though. I always liked her.(/BOOK SPOILER)
I totally thought it was going to be a pregnant Crystal at the door. Steve Newlin as vampire is ... odd.
I'm going to miss Nan.
I am also surprised they didn't announce a baby panther.
I am interested in seeing what Terry's past is all about. Scott Foley has to do with that somehow.
Glad Debbie and Nan are dead, although I liked Nan's bitty attitude. Love Alcide, especially shirtless Alcide.
Jessica's Halloween outfit is my husband's idea of perfection. He will not be seeing that
All in all, a great episode finishing out a mediocre season.
Scott Foley is certainly dead.
I am guessing that Season 5 will stray VERY far from the books and will be all about zombies. Last year, they brought in the witches right at the end, and this year there was a raised-from-the-dead theme...
Another theory is that Lafayette, now that he's so powerful, is going to bring Tara back from the dead. That is, only if my original zombie theory is right.
I think next season is going to be all out Pet Cemetery.
I agree, seeing Amelia would be nice. And I'm really hoping for Quinn. BUT... I wish Tara could have had her happy ending and married and settled down and just been removed from the drama.
Well, Arlene did point out that zombies are the new vampires, so you may not be far off.
I loved that Rene showed up. My husband and I call him Cajun Beckett, because he looks so much like Josh Beckett.
I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate Quinn, though. Hate. So much. Even deadly-dull, vampire-directory-peddling Bill is better to me than Quinn.
I also hope the fairies stay away, but since Andy had his field encounter, (and Holly was dressed as one), I assume that means they'll be back. I thought I read before that they were casting for Claude, but maybe I'm wrong. I hope, anyway.
I thought I read something about casting Claude also. But did they show him at the beginning of the season?
I just don't want Sookie with any of the guys on the show right now. Enter: Quinn. And this is who I envision:
Yes, please.
As if that show needs more eye candy LOL
I love Rene too. I think it is the accent. I just figured I was the only one.
The picture's not showing up for me, LadyE. Who is it?
Yeah, I was bummed that Rene turned out to be the bad guy. Though I was confused by him speaking with the fake cajun accent. I guess since that's the only way Arlene ever heard him speak, that's what she heard/he spoke with?
