Holiday G2G! **Updated with Poll and Info**
I am glad you ladies are in a talking about the holidays mood because we discussed a holiday G2G at book club this weekend. What would you all think of going to Painting With a Twist in Grapevine for a private party on a Saturday in early December (either the 3rd, 10th or 17th)? Cost would be $35 per person.
We thought we could do it potluck style like we do book club and agreed that we would just choose the subject of our paintings out of a hat since we tend to take forever to make choices as a group...haha.
At least 10 people will need to firmly commit as a Nestie will have to put a credit card on file to hold the date and that Nestie will be charged for any no-shows. Anyone who commits but then doesn't come would be responsible for paying that Nestie back ASAP.
I know September seems early but we wanted to get a good date/time before they all filled up with others taking slots for their holiday parties.

Right now any Saturday is probably ok for me, although the 17th could possibly be bad. We normally do our family Christmas party the Saturday before Christmas so that would probably be the day since we wouldn't do it Christmas eve. However, our plans are up in the air due to my grandmother's health so I really can't say for sure.
The 3rd or 10th would probably be best for me.

Instead of taking the chance that someone will back out and a nestie would possibly be out of money, why don't we do paypal as well? I know you need to put down a credit card but the others could pay her via paypal so no one is out of money.
Yes it does seem early but I bet their private parties will be booked quickly so doing it now is a great idea.
