Happy Monday- how was your weekend?
Other than too short? I took one step outside today and wish I could play hooky- it's gorgeous out!
This weekend was pretty good- got lots of stuff done and managed to relax a bit as well.

In a word: exhausting!
I left Friday after work for Poughkeepsie to attend an all day quarterly training event. I basically worked out with world class trainers and about 700 other instructors all day long on Saturday.
Sunday was a duathlon - it was really tough for me since I am not a runner, but it was fun.
My weekend certainly wasn't long enough. I went to a friends house on Friday afternoon to learn how to make a 3D scrapbook. I want to make 3, 1 for my sister and 1 for my mom for Christmas and 1 for myself. I got 1 of the 3 done on Friday.
Saturday was a lot of school and PhD work - getting the semester started! I also closed my pool (a sure sign of the end of summer) and did other housework.
Sunday was my cousin's girlfriends baby shower. Then more school work (I think this is going to become typical for me unfortunately). Although I did manage to watch the Yankees game and the Jets game.
It was definitely too short!
Saturday I did grad school work (almost done - 2 classes left until I have my Master's!) and got caught up on some random things.
Sunday - Jeff went to the GIants/Skins game here in DC and I just stayed in and did more work around our apartment (school, cleaning, etc) Nothing too exciting but with being back to work and going away next weekend, it needed to be done!
