My mom keeps forwarding me stuff I don't want to read

Lots of it is uplifting stuff, or "send this to ten friends..." stuff, but the stuff I REALLY don't want to read are the "funny" emails about sex.  Why is my MOTHER sending me stuff like that?  Oh yeah, because she doesn't understand normal child-parent boundaries.  She also sends them to my husband, who shares my dislike for such messages.  I'm too chicken to tell her to stop, so I just delete them upon seeing them.  Just wanted to vent....grrr.

    My MIL is sorta that way.  I just hate forwarded emails in general.  Nothing is going to happen to me and I'm not unChristian or unAmerican if I don't bother forwarding that crap.  Annoying.

    The political ones from my family that were outright lies I finally responded to, and copy/pasted stuff from snopes.com.  I finally was removed from that forwarding list.

    My father does this all the time!!!!! I once told him if you ever send me a "real" email Ill never know b/c I just delete everything you send me. He acted like I hurt his feelings but I didn't care. It stopped them for a little but he's started to send me stuff again. I just can't stand all the political BS he sends.

    I think it's a generational thing - we have a few people at my office that will forward. Drives me crazy! Especially to my work email! I just delete them all.

    ugh i hate that too. we have a town list serve that's supposed to be about local stuff and people forward youtube stuff with subject lines like "you hsve GOT to see this!!!" no i don't.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    Yes very annoying. I never forward those emails and I delete them right away. My mom even sends the text ones! Drives me crazy!!! But I don't tell her anything because I don't want to make her feel bad.
