Homemade Pumpkin Pie
I'm surprised I'm not orange this morning. I had so many pumpkin-flavored things yesterday! Pumpkin spice latte on my drive to work, pumpkin beer with dinner, and then I made homemade pumpkin pie for dessert! I had never made pumpkin pie from scratch before and, I don't mean to brag, but holy crap! It was so good! I surprised myself because I am much more of a cook, not a baker. It looked nice, too, which is an accomplishment if you'd seen any of the other pies that I've made in my life. I even had a piece for breakfast this morning. Shame on me.

One of the reasons why I love this time of year!!! I love pumpkin flavored things. I went and got a pumpkin spice latte (decaf of course...) from starbucks yesterday and it was heavenly!! I've never made a pumpkin pie from scratch... but your giving me the itch to :-)
