Re: If you have an ipad/ipad2

  • I have several cook book apps on mine, so a stand for use in the kitchen is a must. I also like to use a stylus for scrolling.
  • I have the iPad 2 and use the smart cover. I also have a neoprene sleeve for carrying it in my purse. It's technically a ~10.5" netbook sleeve, but at $8.95, I couldn't pass it up!

  • I just have an envelope style sleeve that I travel with (it has a pocket to put the cord and earbuds in which is nice) and a Belkin snap cover for the back.

  • For my iPad 2 my must have accessories are a Smart Cover and a sleeve for protection when I travel with it. I would like to get a stylus but it isn't necessary.
  • It depends on how you use it, but these are the accessories I love:

    - SmartCover for the screen protection, instant-on feature, keyboard stand, and viewing stand

    - neoprene sleeve to that's big enough to hold the iPad2 with the SmartCover still on, so that I can put it in my bag without worrying about it getting damaged

    - wire display stand for viewing mode - watching videos, following recipes, etc. (for original iPad or when the SmartCover doesn't seem stable enough)

    - Large Ziplock bag When using it as a cookbook, just put the iPad in a ziplock bag so that you don't spill on it and don't have to worry about using it with dirty hands. You can still use the touch screen through the bag.

    - capacitive stylus for using the iPad outside when you're wearing gloves

    - BlueTooth keyboard if you want to use it for any kind of lengthy text editing (I've actually written a 5-page technical paper on the iPad when I was traveling)

    - Camera Connector Kit to let you pull photos directly off a camera card onto the iPad as backups when traveling or to quickly display or upload photos

  • I recently bought a keyboard for my iPad 2. I already have smart cover so I don?t have to worry about the stand and all.
  • Clear screen protector and a neoprene sleeve (it's really for a larger tablet). I use the screen protector because I know my DH and the neoprene sleeve bc I bring it everywhere and it makes me feel better about tossing it in my bag with all my other stuff.
