hey all, I'm getting to a point where I am needing a CPA for my biz.
I'd love recs for a good CPA. also is there anything specific i should know about getting a CPA? I'm new to all this.

Do you need someone for bookeeping and taxes? I suggest getting a computer program like Quickbooks or something similar for small businesses and DIY for the bookkeeping then have someone help with your taxes. You can learn it yourself, do classes, or have someone teach you.
If you don't want to deal with that, lots of people who use CPAs just see them quarterly or monthly (I'm not sure how big your business is). But DIY a little will save you some $$ and the programs aren't that hard. About like using Quicken.
I would just hire someone on a referral. Do any of your friends with businesss have recs for CPAs? It would be nice if they did similar work for other people.
