My cat had a grooming appt. at 9 today. I made the appt. weeks ago. The guy was really nice on the phone and told me to get there a few minutes early because I might need to fill out paperwork. I got there at 8:55. It wasn?t opened and no one was picking up the phone. I was soo annoyed and sat with my cat in the car for a about 10 minutes and called a few more times and then left. I had to go to work, plus I had to drop Winky back off at home. I felt bad because she hates riding in the car.
I get to work and the guy calls me at like 9:20. He was a d!ck! He NEVER apologized, or seemed remotely apologetic. He kept saying he couldn?t believe someone at the place would?ve told me to come before 9 bc he?s never there before 9, usually not there til 9:15. He was like, I came in for you, I guess now I just have to go home?!? I told him he was completely unprofessional and rude, and that if he had called me, apologized and said, can you bring your cat in now? I would?ve but I?m never taking her there. He said fine, bye and hung up.
I?m livid! I already wrote a scathing review online of him. I guess the only silver lining is that if he had that attitude with me over the phone, he probably would?ve treated Winky really poorly too and she doesn?t deserve that?so I?m glad she didn?t go there.
BUT she is one giant hairmat and now I have to find another groomer. Grrrrr, what a way to start the day....and it?s only Tuesday!

I'm glad you called him out on the phone, and wrote the review! I agree, if he's that big of a jerk he wouldn't be nice to your cat.

It truly amazes me how customer service is these days. When I worked in retail believe me I HATED when customers always thought they were right. I've had people curse me out and even tell my manager I deserved to be fired even though I was never rude and they were wrong. I told them so after they yelled haha but it just amazes me because I really had the attitude of customer is always right to try and give the best service and people these days don't.
So what like it's a huge inconvenience for him being that he bebopped into the store at 9:20 which was even later than he said he normally is there and you're supposed to wait and be late for work?
You're right he probably wouldn't have been sweet to Winky and you wouldn't want that.
I agree - with bad customer service like that you definitely don't want them touching your pet.
